ATM I'm running on v15.10.3.2 (pre-installed with W8.1, only driver, no PRO BS) and currently doing fine. The good thing about W8.1 is that you can start WiDi without having the stupid PRO set for Intel. However WiDi is not lag free, and it's just enough annyoing that I use my HDMI cable instead. Hopefully it will get better in the future without having the need of PRO set software which is creating bigger problems.
If you have W8.1 simply go to devices and project then choose WiDi, just make sure to remove your intel software for the network card. It might even work on W8 for all I know..
