It was a Cisco RE2000 Range **Extender**, not a **Repeater** (these two components act **very** differently).
But no, I can't agree with your conclusion - not even a little. The fact that the 6230 drops when **ALL** my other computers (3 other computers) around it - two of them also with 6XXX chips (one of them has an Apple NIC), do NOT drop - when they are actually located FURTHER away from the Router (and behind additional walls and sources of disruption like my microwave, unlike the laptop with the 6230) when the 6230 **Does Drop** indicates a fundamental problem with the 6230 and/or its firmware.
My request is that you escalate this to engineering.
