Intel, this is not a proper answer! I've bought a Intel NUC i5 kit where you are supposed to assemble the parts by yourself. I've been working with computers and electronics for over 40 years and I think I'm qualified to assemble this kit properly. The problem is the Centrino WLAN card 6235. I've tested this card with all available compatible drivers on the Intel site and still have problems with sporadic network drops. When I tested with a USB dongle, the Asus N53, I have no problems whatsoever.

The problems with the 6235 card dates back for at least on and a half year now without Intel being able to give us any answers how to solve this. I discovered the network problems within half-hour after powering up the Intel NUC.

Don't you test your stuff Intel? This whole affair is a disgrace for Intel and you just answer this issue with a nonsense standard reply!

This is the last time  I will buy any equipment with Intel Inside. You just haven't handle this problem professionally and with proper respect to your customers.

My equipment:

computer: Intel  NUC i5 d54250wykh, 8GB memory, Intel 120 GB SSD

OS: Windows 8.1 64 bit

Router: Asus N66U

All drivers and firmware are the latest as of today, March 31, 2014,
