Hi, I have got the same issues on Dell Xps 13 bought a month ago. I have tried all suggestions but they don't solve the problem, but the connection is better. I've just discover that when the wifi freezes I don't need to reboot the pc, I simply activate the "airplane mode" and then turn off it, it works...

I don't know if this is problem is hardware or software (I hope this one) but I want to know the answer. I am not an expert, as many of you, but I've a suggestion... We should write to computer magazines (I send emails to two magazines, until now no answers) and ask for investigate this issue. I think it's useless writing in this forum... Intel isn't reading our complaints. BUT If they publish something, I bet intel will work hard to find a solution.
In addition they have tools to test pc accessories and they can establish if this problem is software or hardware. So PLEASE contact a magazine or a site (like Which?.co). I hope we will solve the problem!

I think I'll wait a month and, if no solution are found, I will buy a new card... Has anyone replaced this intel card with another??? Are there problems with Windows 8 and secure boot?
