The system is using the 7260 it came with, no mods have been made to it.Uninstalled all BT drivers and did cold boot, two or three times to be sure. Never got anything new in the device manager.

HP ENVY dv6t-7300 CTO Quad Edition Notebook PC Win8.1 also working so long as you enable the power management option with 17.12.0.4 driver.Disabling power management causes it to not come out of sleep.
